Business Analysis – Collective Genius Business Analysis

Posted by admin on May 12th, 2010 and filed under business information system | 3 Comments »

    Collective Genius http://www.collective-genius.com

    Welcome to Collective Genius
There are not enough experienced Business Analysts for the number of projects that need them. Our Mission at Collective Genius is to address the shortage of skilled Business Analysts by working with the organizations that are most passionate about business analysis, by developing business analysis centers of excellence, and providing ongoing knowledge sharing and business analysis talent.
Collective Genius is a Business and Information Technology Consulting Organization focused solely in the area Business Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, and Business Process Analysis. Being very niche and passionate we have created an organization that attracts top talent for our clients and provides ongoing advocacy and education for our local Business Analysis Communities.
We develop and maintain business analysis centers of excellence for organizations and we support organizations’ needs with the right business analysis talent including direct placement, contract to hire, and consultants.
Our success in attracting great talent is largely due to the fact Business Analysts appreciate that we focus solely in their profession and know them best. This is very different than the magnitude of generalist consulting/staffing organizations that try to do everything for everyone. Being niche, we have had the opportunity to become experts in the field and designed our organization, processes, and tools specifically for the Business Analyst.
As an advocate to the role of the Business Analyst, in 2006 Collective Genius developed the first online Community of Business Analysts called the BA Collective. The BA Collective is a gathering place for like-minded professionals dedicated to the practice of business analysis. This is a place for industry professionals to learn about developing trends and share their own thoughts and experiences with the community.
The reason we developed The BA Collective is to unite a community of Business Analysts and provide a place where we can all share experiences and continually evolve our knowledge within our roles throughout our careers.
Our mission in parallel with Collective Genius and the BA Collective is to bridge the gap between the need for professional and experienced Business Analysts and the projects that need them. We hope with your support of Collective Genius and the BA Collective, together we will continue to accomplish this mission.

Lawn Care Business Trailer Hookup Camera system to make lawn mower trailer positioning easier.

Posted by admin on April 29th, 2010 and filed under business information system | 4 Comments »

    http://www.StartALawnCareBusiness.com

This is Keith with StartALawnCareBusiness.com. Today I am showing you one of the most innovative products for the lawn care business I have seen in several years.

Anyone who has ever tried to hook up a lawn care trailer knows how frustrating it is to get the perfect position over the hitch ball.

The new Swift Hitch camera and receiver system allows you to get the perfect position every time.

This trailer hookup camera system is a very simple setup. The camera has a magnetic base that goes on your tailgate. Point the camera at your hitch ball and turn the camera on.

The display is a wireless 2.4 GHz receiver. Simply turn it on to get an idea of what your camera is seeing.

You have probably felt confused when you are backing up and looking in your rear view mirror. Swift Hitch has a neat function that allows it to give you a standard view and a reverse view of your hitch ball. This helps greatly when you are trying to understand if you should turn your steering wheel to the right or the left when making maneuvers.

There are 7 infrared transmitters on the Swift Hitch camera allowing the Swift Hitch system to work in absolute darkness.

The Swift Hitch also has a protective covering to protect it from rain while it is attached to your tailgate.

After positioning your truck’s hitch ball under your trailer tongue, properly hook up and secure the trailer and remove the swift hitch camera from your tailgate.

This is a complete one-man operation. Sitting in my truck I am able to use the receive to tell when I am perfectly position over the hitch ball. Removal of the camera is easy since it is attached with magnets. For attachments to non-metal surfaces an optional suction cup mounting plate is highly recommended.

Turn the camera and the receiver off and store them in their protective storage bags in your glove box. The batteries on both the camera and the receiver last about four hours before needing to be recharged. They recharge via an included cigarette lighter charger.

Swift Hitch, the perfect position, every time.

Lawn Care Business Equipment Review Propane Weedeater Lehr

Posted by admin on April 26th, 2010 and filed under business information system | 9 Comments »

    http://www.StartALawnCareBusiness.com

Hi Everyone. This is Keith with StartALawnCareBusiness.com. We are in the beautiful Tennessee Valley at Falling Water Falls. We are surrounded by nature and today we are reviewing an eco-friendly product. It’s the Lehr 4 cycle, propane powered, string trimmer.

Propane power offers lawn care companies greater flexibility. During code red air pollution days in some areas lawn care companies are (voluntarily in some areas) disallowed from using 2 cycle gasoline powered string trimmers. However, they are allowed to use propane power since the pollutants released from the trimmers are less than using 2 cycle gas-oil mixtures.

The Lehr model uses a 16.4 oz. canister. You can purchase these at most any department store or retail store. They are most commonly found in the camping section. They cost about $3.00 per bottle and Lehr says you can operate the string trimmer for about 2 hours from a full bottle of propane.

Refilling the unit is simple. Take a new bottle of propane. Slip it into the housing and secure the latch. Once the bottle is secure simply twist and go. That’s all there is to it. There is no mixture of oil and gasoline. You do not have to worry about a choke and you do not have to worry with a primer bulb to prime the fuel system.

Once the system is charged with propane one or two pulls of the starter rope starts it right up. The Lehr propane string trimmer starts very quickly and easily. The string trimmer seems to idle quieter than other trimmers. Don’t let the low decibels fool you. The trimmer torques very quickly when you press the throttle.

Before using any lawn equipment take proper safety precautions. Ear and eye protection are necessary.

If you need to make an environmental statement with your lawn care company, I highly recommend the Lehr propane powered string trimmer. It is high quality. It is responsive. Your customers will love you for it.
