  • How is it being a(n) U.S. NAVY (IT), or Information systems technician?

Posted by admin on December 16th, 2009 and filed under decision making information system | 1 Comment »

I would love to know before going to boot that way when I am given my chance in boot camp in great lakes, I may retake my ASVAB and thus choose a different job?, and am I making a good decision having picked IT? I would love to know every single detail, Thaank you for your time…

I don’t much about being IT, except you will get a security clearance and be able to make lots of money in the civilian world after your enlistment.

I do know that you do NOT get to retake the ASVAB in boot camp and choose another job. The only way you can pick another rate is if you get disqualified for the one you signed up for. Then your options will be slim, and they may not even ask you what you want to be, they could just tell you. If you are computer savvy even a little then you will do fine.
