Staying home 1 day …
Staying home 1 day will not work. People are broke and even 1 day without pay will hurt them. The mass populace will not do it. The elections are corrupt . We cannot trust the people running the elections. In my opinion, GOOOH is the only way to remove the corrupt politicians outside of a full on bloody revolution. Even a full on civil war against the government won’t work. The military is too powerful. Not to mention the local and state police agencies who will certainly keep us down.

With all due respect, we DO need to reinvent our system of representation. The real outcome of the “time tested one” continues to prove that corruption and abuse lives on both sides of the aisle. We cannot allow the R’s to co-opt this wave, as they will squander our trust just like they always do. Reagan was an exception to the norm, and the chances of our discovering the next one is much greater in our own backyard than it is in Hollywood. I’ve attended these sessions & they are empowering!

We can make a change. I’m with ya. But conservatism has always found a home in the repub party. Times may have changed, but they haven’t changed to the point where a third party will get more than 10% of the vote. It’s just not going to happen. What’s wrong with taking over the repub party? We need not abandon our principles.

I have to disagree with your philosphy. Times are very different today than any time in our history. A recent poll just indicated that 33% of Americans today would vote for a 3rd party. Why do you think the libs would win? I think all the votes in 2010 will got to R’s or 3rd party. The Dems can’t win. It will be a blood bath. So you will end up with 3rd party or R’s in the majority.
