How to find out the complete system information of the computer?
I bought a computer the shop gave me written specifications but I have doubts whether the specifications were really met so I want to know what computer software can I use to detect the complete system information like HDD, Memory, CPU, Motherboard, Processor etc.
CPU-Z will give most of them to you.
As for hard drive, go to start -> run -> diskmgmt.msc.
This should show you partitions and the total size of the disk.
Keep in mind the total disk capacity will always be lower than the advertised number
EX> You will only be able to use 295-300GB of a 320GB disk.
There are plenty of freeware programs out there that will read all those specs. Google. Some ido it in greater detail than others.
You can get much of it by right clicking my computer and choosing properties.
