Synopsis of: MADE I want to be a Management Information Systems (MIS) Major
This video is a parody of the MTV hit series Made, where high school students are given coaches to changes their lifestyle and take on a hobby that is very opposite of how they originally are. Our story is about Garret, a sports-playing jock from Inver Grove Heights, MN. He is in high school and wants to get into the prestigious MIS club which has a very hard entrance exam. Garret also eventually wants to go to college at the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. He originally thinks that it will be a breeze to get into the club which will boost his chances at getting into the college of his dreams, but he quickly finds out it is not as easy as he thinks.
Garrett meets his made coach, Jorden, who makes him do practice tests and lots of work in order to educate him about what MIS really is and to help him pass the test. Along the way Garrett finds out of statistics about what a person with an MIS major does for a career and what his coursework will be like in college. In the end, Garrett passes the test and gets into the MIS club at his school, but realizes he still has a lot of learning and hard work to do if he wants to get into Carlson School of Management and become a real MIS major.
