This is more or … This is more or less correct. STRAT can deploy as TAC and TAC can go STRAT. I am a TAC trained and I am both. If your TAC you don’t always work with just your equipment lol.
i guess … i guess communications stuff. in the PaYS program i picked to have in interview with Microsoft. so i guess i’ll be trying to work there. but i wanna make a career outta the army so i can retire after 20 years and collect a fat pension lol and work another job also.
You are either … You are either tactical or strategic. If you are tactical you go with anyone that needs signal, even the infantry, and can deploy regularly. But, you only work with your equipment.
If you are strategic you go to static sites that have missions running 24/7. It’s basically shift work and you just troubleshoot and do PMCS. If you deploy it’s just to support other countries in SatCom or to augment civilian satcom, etc.
I was infantry for … I was infantry for 4 years. I just reclassed to 25S and just 2 weeks ago went to my first duty station at Ft. Meade.
I love it already.
I also hear the Corrections field is pretty good as well but not much after army career.
However, you get $4500 a year of Tuition Assistance while you’re in the army, so you could have a degree before you leave in whatever.
yo im so confused … yo im so confused on what MOS to choose. im about to go infantry, but if i make it back to the civilian world ill be screwed..
any one knows an good MOS other than infantry?
